1. Description of Service
idlesales provides an automated inventory monitoring service that integrates with e-commerce platforms like Shopify. We analyze your product variants, sales history, and inventory quantities to alert you of dead stock, slow-moving items, and stock thresholds.
2. Account Registration and Security
You must provide a valid email address and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Third-Party Integrations (Shopify)
To function, idlesales requires read access to your Shopify store's products, inventory, and orders. By connecting your store, you grant us permission to fetch, store, and analyze this data on your behalf. Our use of this data is strictly governed by our Privacy Policy and Shopify's API Terms of Use. We are not responsible for any limitations, outages, or API changes initiated by Shopify.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Connect stores you do not own or have explicit authorization to manage.
- Attempt to exploit, bypass, or reverse-engineer our synchronization limits or alerting algorithms.
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Service Availability and Accuracy
While we strive for high availability and accurate reporting, idlesales is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that inventory syncs will be entirely error-free or real-time. You should always verify critical inventory levels directly within your Shopify admin panel before making major financial or marketing decisions.
6. Termination and Disconnection
You may cancel your account or disconnect your store at any time. Upon disconnection, we will cease querying your Shopify data and will remove your associated inventory and sales records from our system. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall idlesales be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or e-commerce sales, arising from your use of the service or the failure of alerts to trigger accurately.
